Arriving Beijing
Arrive in Beijing - the capital of China. China Holidays tour guide greets you at the airport and transfer
you to your hotel.
Day 03

Beijing served as the capital of 5 dynasties over a period of 800 years with each emperor identified as a
dragon sent from the heaven. Start your city tour with a visit to the Forbidden City. This complex, the
largest and most intact conglomeration of ancient structures of the imperial palace ever built in the
world, features more than 800 buildings with 9999 rooms, resplendent golden-glazed roofs, red
lacquered pillars and vermilion walls. Next stop is the Temple of Heaven, which was used to offer
sacrifices to heaven and pray for good harvest in ancient times. Then tour to the Summer Palace, the
largest ancient preserved garden in China and a former summer retreat for Emperors and the chosen
few. Enjoy the famous acrobatic show in the evening.

Day 05
Beijing (B, L, D)
The highlight today is a trip to the astonishing Great Wall at Juyongguan Path. The Great Wall is
the most famous image of China throughout the world. It is the only man made object visible
from the moon, and as one of the Eight Wonders of the world. It is a symbol of Chinese traditional
culture and the pride of the Chinese nation. Later visit the Sacred Path of Ming Tombs, 13 of the 16
Ming emperors have their tombs here. This is an attractive destination as much for the natural scenery
of the area as for the tombs themselves. Visit the Cloisonne Factory and enjoy the famous Peking Duck
dinner in the evening.
Day 06
Beijing - Jinan (B, L, D)
Morning flight to Jinan. Jinan is also commonly known as "city of springs" for
its profusion of natural springs. Sightsee the beautiful Daming Lake, the water here neither rises
substantially during rainy days, nor dries in drought, and the Baotu Spring, also known as the "No.1
Spring on the Earth".
Day 07
Jinanv Mt. Taishan - Qufu (B, L, D)
Take coach to Mt. Taishan in the morning. Mt. Taishan has been regarded as the first of the
Five-Holy-Mountains in ancient China for its majesty and beauty. Take a cable car up to the mountain,
visit the Jade Emperor Peak and Sky Walk. Descend by cable car in the afternoon. Travel back to Qufu, the birthplace of Confucius, also known as the "sacred city" of the East, is one of China's most famous historic cities of culture.
Day 08
Qufu - Jinan - Nanjing (B, L, D)
Drive to Qufu after breakfast. Visit the Residence of Confucius, the Confucius Temple and the
Confucius Stele Forest. Back to Jinan by coach and take soft-sleeper overnight train to Nanjing.
Day 09
Nanjing - Wuxi (B, L, D)
Arriving Nanjing in the morning. Nanjing is the capital city of Jiangsu Province. It served as the capital of six dynasties in China's history and is littered with cultural relics, museums and nice scenery. Visit Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, Xuanwu Lake and Nanjing Museum.
Day 10
Wuxi - Suzhou (B, L, D)
Wuxi is one of the oldest cities in China with a history of more than 3000 years. Visit the Turtle Head Penisular Park, where you can enjoy the beauty of the Lake Tai, the third-largest lake in China. Visit the Three Kingdom Movie Site, which is called "the Hollywood in China", and the Freshwater Pearls Farm.
Day 11
Suzhou - Shanghai (B, L, D)
Take coach to Suzhou after breakfast. Suzhou has been praised as the "Paradise on the Earth" since ancient times and is an extraordinarily delicate and elegant city. Known as "Venice of the East", Suzhou is built around Grand Canal. The city's many excellent classical gardens have entitled Suzhou the "Garden City". Our sightseeing includes the Tiger Hill, Garden of the Master of the Nets. Enjoying the Silk Fashion Show.
Day 12
Shanghai (B, L, D)
Drive to Shanghai in the morning. Stroll the Nanjing Road and the Bund (Wai Tan) waterfront area, a sweeping area along the Huangpu River, where used to be foreign concessions and now is the symbol of modern Shanghai. Here is the best place to capture the western influence of the old days. Sightsee the Yuyuan Garden.
