zhai) and Jinbian Creek.
Yellow Lion Village is the highest village in the Zhangjiajie area. At
its peak, the village is actually a 1,200 metre high plateau. You will have the
best view of the most attractive scene--stone steps lead to the top, a quiet
area relatively free of tourists from which you can witness the beautiful
karsts formations of the local crags. Below lie the waters of Jinbian Creek and

mountains and valleys.

whole length of it is about 12km, 4stories. There are dry caves and watery
caves including 2 palaces 8 halls and 96 corridors. Various stalactites are
full of the whole cave. The most amazing spectacle is that when you knock the
stalactites in the Shiqing Mountain of the cave, you will hear the wonderful
sound made by the stalactites. Moreover there are a 11km long cave and a 50m
high waterfall which are rare in the other caves. After that we will fly to Chendu---the capital of Sichun
Province, where you can feast on some great food and soak up some of the mellow

landscape and its lakes, springs, waterfalls, streams, rivers and shoals.
Huanglong Cave is famous for its magic landscape of limes formation, made up of
3400 multi-colored, different sized ponds interlacing along the cave.
Calcareous fluid with bottom paving with golden line deposit, plus five
waterfalls, four stalactite caves and three ancient temples, all of them gather
in the same place, which look like a dragon surging down from snowcapped peaks

Q Chengdu v Leshan v Mt. Emei
Fly back to
Chengdu in the morning, and continue our trip to Leshan. Visit the Giant Buddha
Statue which is situated at the confluence of the Min and Dadu River. The
Chinese have a saying that, “the mountain is a Buddha and the Buddha is a
mountain". At 71 meters tall (and that is seated) ears 6.72 meters long,
nose 5.33 meters, and eyes 5.33 meters wide, this great sculpture is certainly
the biggest of its kind in the world. Later transfer to Mt. Emei.
Day 10: Mt. Emei v Chengdu
Today visit Mt.
Emei, one of China's four sacred Buddhist Mountains and has been a popular
place of pilgrimage for the past 1800 years. Although Mt.Emei is still hugely
popular with pilgrims (the smoke from incense and burning paper in the temples
en route stings your eyes!), the mountain is equally famous for its spectacular
scenery. The word "Emei" in Chinese means "Eyebrows of
beauty" and locals believe that the peaks of Emei resemble the eyebrows of
a woman! Take cable car to the top of the mountain—the Golden Summit and you
will enjoy a view of the Buddha’s Halo, the sea of the cloud and the wonderful
sunrise. Later transfer back to Chengdu.
Day 11: Chengdu Q Mt. Huangshan
Fly to Mt.
Huangshan in the morning. Huangshan is the most famous mountain in China, and
it is recognized by UNESCO as the rich heritage of mankind. It has been famous for thousands of
years for its unique pine trees, stones of strange shapes, the sea of clouds,
and hot springs. Tour the Hongcun village, one of the best kept old villages
built in Ming dynasty.
Day 12: Mt.
Huangshan
Take a cable car
to the top of the mountain.
Explore the famous peaks such as the Lotus Peak, the Tip of a Magic
Writing Brush, and Beginning to Believe Peak etc. Lotus Flower Peak is the highest peak with an elevation of
6,138 feet. Famous pines such as the "Flying Dragon" and the
"Twin Dragons" are found there. From the summit the neighboring peaks
look dwarfed and in the distance the whole scene gradually merges into one
shade of color. Rising out of the
profusion of trees and flowers, Tip of a Magic Writing Brush is a pillar of stone tapering into a
sharp point on which stands a twisted old pine. People metaphorically describe
it as the "Tip of a Magic Writing Brush," that is, a brush painting
all the lovely scenes of Mt. Huangshan. Unlike other peaks, Beginning to Believe Peak is small and dainty but has a charm of
its own. It is noted for its gorgeous greenery and quaint rock shapes. The
beauty of Mt. Huangshan is so captivating that one can't help feeling as if one
has stepped into a Chinese landscape paining shouting, "Now I
believe." Stay over night at the hotel on top of the mountain.
