Great Mountains and Porcelain Capital Tour 14 Days

Day 01: West Coast Q Beijing
Fly to Beijing on deluxe wide-bodied jet plane, cross the International
Date Line.
Day 02: Beijing
Arrive in Beijing in late afternoon, welcomed by CTS guide,
then transfer to hotel.
Day 03: Beijing Q Qingdao
Take the morning flight to Qingdao, one of the best coast cities
in China. Upon arrival, you will take tour to Mt. Laoshan, visit the Taiqing
Palace. Laoshan, one of China's famous Taoism mountains, has many scenic spots.
It has been known as the "Home of immortals".
Day 04: Qingdao v Jinan
Visit the Zhanqiao Pier and Badaguan (The Eight Passes)
area. Qingdao Brewery factory is the oldest beer factory in China. Jinan is a
famous historical and cultural city known as the "Capital of Springs"
since ancient times. Visit Daming lake and Baotu Spring.
Day 05: Jinan v Mt. Taishan
Take bus to Taishan in the morning. Mt. Taishan has been
regarded as the first of the five sacred mountains in ancient China for its majesty
and beauty. Visit Dai Temple upon arrival, then take cable-car up to the
mountain, visit Jade Emperor Peak and Sky Street.
Day 06: Mt. Taishan v Qufu v Jinan
Enjoy the beautiful sunrise from top of Mt. Tai. Then transfer
to Qufu after going down by cable car. Visit Confucius’ House, Confucius’ Temple
and Confucius’ Mausoleum. Then head back to Jinan.
Day 07: Jinan Q Nanchang
Take morning flight to Nanchang. Nanchang has remained
relatively prosperous throughout its 2,190 years history. Visit Tengwang
Pavilion and Badashanren Museum.
Day 08: Nanchang v Lushan (Mt. Lu)
Take bus to Mt. Lushan after breakfast. Mt. Lushan, which
has been recognized as World Heritage of Human by UNESCO in 1996, faces Yangtze
River to the north and borders on the east with the largest fresh water lake in
China, Poyang Lake. There are almost 3000 villas on the Mountain, among which
the most famous one is called Meilu , named after Mrs. Jiang.
Day 09: Lushan (Mt. Lu)
Flower Path Park is named by the famous Poet of Tang
dynasty, Bai Juyi.
The park also retains the remnants of the once great
glacier that created this spectacular landscape over two million years ago. Then
visit Splendid Village in the afternoon. Dinner served with the local dishes
(Sanshi Liaoli).
Day 10: Lushan (Mt. Lu) v Jiujiang v Jingdezhen
Visit Shizhongshan (Stone Bell Hill) in the morning. This
beautiful sightseeing spot is named after another Tang dynasty poet Su Dongpo.
Take bus to Jiujiang city after lunch, visit Dianjiang Pavilion (built in the
period of the Three Kingdoms (220-280)) and Yanshui Pavilion. Depart to
Jingdezhen late afternoon.
Day 11: Jingdezhen v Huangshan (Mt. Huang, Yellow Mountain)
Jingdezhen has been considered as the Porcelain Capital of
the World and from here alone come the vast majority of all porcelain pieces
ever produced. Visit the Ancient Porcelain Workshop and Jingdezhen Historic Ceramic
Museum in the morning, and go shopping in Porcelain Street. Take bus to Mt.
Huangshan, Mt. Huang has been recognized by UNESCO as the rich heritage of
mankind. It has been famous for thousands of years for its unique pine trees,
stones of strange shapes, the sea of clouds, and hot springs.
Day 12: Mt. Huangshan
Take a cable car to the top of the mountain. Explore the
famous peaks such as the Lotus Flower Peak, the Tip of a Magic Writing Brush,
and Beginning to Believe Peak etc. Lotus Flower Peak is the highest Peak with
an elevation of 6,138 feet. Famous pines such as the "Flying Dragon"
and the "Twin Dragons" are found there. From the summit the
neighboring peaks look dwarfed and in the distance the whole scene gradually
merges into one shade of color. Rising out of the profusion of trees and
flowers, Tip of a Magic Writing Brush is a pillar of stone tapering into a
sharp point on which stands a twisted old pine. People metaphorically describe
it as the "Tip of a Magic Writing Brush," that is, a brush painting
all the lovely scenes of Mt. Huangshan. Unlike other peaks, Beginning to
Believe Peak is small and dainty but has a charm of its own. It is noted for
its gorgeous greenery and quaint rock shapes. The beauty of Mt. Huangshan is so
captivating that one can't help feeling as if one has stepped into a Chinese
landscape paining shouting, "Now I believe."
Day 13: Huangshan Q Shanghai
Rise early to catch the breath-taking view of the sun
rising from the horizon with mountain peaks shrouded in the sea of clouds.
Continue the excursion on the Mt. Huangshan. Descend by cable car; tour Hongcun
Village, which has been recognized as the World Culture Heritage of Mankind by
UNESCO recently. Fly to Shanghai in the evening.
Day 14: Shanghai Q West Coast
Tour guide will transfer you to the
airport and home your sweet home
