| The Nangguan Mosque was built in 1915.
It was rebuilt in 1981.The Mosque is 22 meters high with two storeys
and can hold about one thousand muslem preyers. There is a fountain
in front of the Mosque. The most attractive part is the five green
vigorous domes on the top of the Mosque. They are the symbol of the
Islamism figures: the largest one in the centre symbolizes the Islamism
prophet--Mohammed; the other 4 domes symbolize 4 great figures of
Islamism, i.e. Hanaifey, Malik, Shafeyi and Hanboli. |
