Hakka Folk Custom Museum, also called Crane Lake New Residence, located in Luo Ruche Village, Longgang Town, is the largest Hakka local style dwelling architecture in China with a land area of 24,816 square meters and a construction area of 14,530 square meters.
The construction inside the enclosing walls looks like a small rectangle in the middle of a big one. The whole construction group is also in the same structure. The front of the outer enclosure is wide while the rear is narrow. Between the outer enclosure and rectangle inner enclosure stand a tall wall. The pavilions, halls, houses, corridors and courtyards in the whole construction are in picturesque disorder.
