Located on the northeast of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, China,
Qinghai Province is the source of the Yellow and Yangtze rivers,
with an elevation of over 3,000 m. Xining is the capital of Qinghai
Province. Xining mainly produces agricultural and livestock products,
and its main local products include carpets, plush, camel hair,
ox hair, cashmere, butter, milk powder, brake, Qingke (highland
barley) wine, ethnic knife, Huangzhong silver and copper ware, Chinese
caterpillar fungus, Xining rheum officinale, snow lotus flowers,
musk, etc.
