Shijiazhuang is the capital of Hebei Province, 280 km to Beijing in
the south and 270 km to Tianjin. The Longxing Temple in Zhengding. known
as the No. l Temple to the South of Beijing, is famous for the tallest
copper Buddha in China and a great number of cultural relics and treasures.
Mount Cangyan in Jingjing is noted for its unique bridges, towers and
halls; Xibaipo is the last rural revolutionary base of China, where

world. Shijiazhuang occupies an important position in the Buddhist history
because of the Linji and Longxing temples in Zhengding,
