Gansu provincial Museum, one of the best museums in China, is the first one with proper labeling in English. Among numerous displays is a large exhibition of "75000 pieces of Historical Finds of Gansu" which include some impressive pottery, Han bamboo slips of characters, bronze articles, famous Bronze Fling Horse, brick- paintting from Jiuguguan Tombs. Buddhist statue, sutra and suprisingly, a complete Yellow River Elephant Fossil 2.5 million years ago. Other sections include Chinese Art and economics and products of Gansu Province.
