The tourist center in Jiangjin City, Qijiang County, the Wansheng District,and Nanchuan City features the Jinfo Mountan National Scenic Area, the Wansheng Stone Forest, the Xiandu Karst Cave, and other natural landscapes.

It is an ideal place to view the landscape, venture into the unknown, seek novelty, escape from the summer heat, spend holidays, and get familiar with the ecosystem.

The Simian Mountain Scenic Area

It is in the city of Jiangjin, more than 100 kilometers from Chongqing. The scenic area stretches for more than 23,000 hectares. Here the mountain rises and falls for over 50 kilometers. The area has a mild climate with plenty of rainfall and a dense growth of a primitive evergreen broad-leaved forest, the only forest of the category to be found in regions of the same latitude in the world. The mountain features as many as 100 waterfalls in 23 groups scattered over the scenic spots.

The Jinfo Mountain Scenic Area

The 260-square-kilometer scenic area is within Nanchuan City, where Jinfo Mountain, also known as Jiudi Mountain, rises between 800 to 1,000 meters in elevation. Qingliang Summit, the main peak, stands 2,251 meters above sea level and is one of the "four mountains famous the their scenery in Sichuan Province" along with Emei, Qingcheng and Jinyun mountains. The major scenic places include Fengchui Ridge, Shizikou, Manao City, the Fenghuang Temple, and the Ancient Buddha's Cave.
