lot of new legislation has been introduced in China during
the last fifteen years. The new laws and regulations have
improved the investment prospects in China significantly along
with China's access to the WTO. We have compiled a comprehensive
list of China's laws in this column. Please note that the
dates below refer to the effective date, not the date of promulgation.
