Wonton

Ma Yu Xing Bucket Chincken
    The long-established Ma Yu Xing Shop was founded in Nanjing in 1850. in 1855, the manager Ma Yonghe brought the original soup to Kaifeng and began to deal in Greasy Chicken and Spiced Bucket Chicken. Its braised chicken is famous for tenderness and light taste.

Heij Noodle Restaurant
    Its predecessor is the Laoxiangqin Restaurant set up in 1946. in 1953, it was renamed Heji when it was turned over to the comanagement of four persons, including Li Shaoqing. A snack that combines meat, vegetables and soup with noodles, the Mutton Noodles offered by the restaurant feature rich soup and soft mutton.

Cai's Steamed Dumpling and Wonton
    Cai Shijun, the restaurant's founder, used to assist in the work in the royal kitchen of the Qing Dynasty. In 1919, he went back to Zhengzhou to establish Capital Cai's Wonton Restaurant. His son, Cai Yongquan, later inherited the restaurant and it continues in operation until today. Cai's Steamed Dumpling features exquisite materials and tender fillings. In recent years, the restaurant has created 47 new types, using celery, ginger juice, mushroom and dried mushroom, forming a unique steamed dumpling feast.

Ge's Braised Pancake Restaurant
    In 1921, a Manchu ethnic brought the cooking technique from Beijing to Zhengzhou. The Sliced Pancake with Meat Braised in Jar is the most famous dish with meat cubes cooked in porcelain jar, thus having a rich flavor. Its pancake is baked over a low flame. With delicious meat and soft pancake, this snack meets the need of both young and old.

Vegetarian Restaurant of Shaolin Temple
    This vegetarian restaurant is manahed by the Shaolin Temple in order to receive senior monks and honored guests. Restaurant shows that vegetarian food features delicious taste and rich nutrition,able to build up the body and promote the intellect.
