Jiayuguan
Pass is the starting point of the western end of the Great
Wall built in the Ming Dynasty.
The food in Jiayuguan City has a brief history but has developed
a myriad number of dishes. Representative dishes include:
Beijing Flavored Dumpling, Lanzhou Beef Noodle, Xi'an Mutton
Soup with Pancake Pieces, Zhangye Niangpi (flour peel), Xinjiang
Skewered Mutton, Rubbed Fish Noodle, Saozi Noodle, Paozhang
