Food in Guangzhou, a famous south China city, is well known. Guangzhou is the birthplace of the Guangdong Cuisine that features varied and exquisite ingredients, diversified and delicate garnishes and fresh, tender and smooth flavors. It is especially famous for small pans and dim sum.
    Apart from Guangdong Cuisine, the Guangdong catering trade also provides Sichuan, Shandong and Huaiyang dishes, as well as Western bars, Japanese food, Korean dishes and Southeast Asian food. Both Western and Chinese fast food are available.
