Nansha
Cake
Made of flour, sugar, vegetable oil, alfalfa and nut
kernels. Such cake can be preserved for a long time.
In ancient times, Qing Emperors ordered the royal kitchen
in Chengde to make Nansha cakes in large quantities
for the convenience of Mongolian nobles on their long
trips back and forth as their staple food.
Fresh Rose Cake
The cake is made of fresh roses produced in the
Chengde Royal Summer Resort, together with flour,
sugar, vegetable oil, sesame oil, walnuts and sunflower
seed.
Buckwheat Noodles
As a traditional crop in Chengde, buckwheat can
be made into various staples with a special flavor.
Almond Juice
Chengde is a prolific producer of almonds, ranking
No.1 in China. Now the Almond Juice Puree developed
by Chengde is based on the original palace recipe.
Koumo
Koumo is a precious kind of mushroom that can be
eaten raw. Among its various species, the white koumo
is the best in color, smell and taste. As a feast
delicacy, it can be cooked without soy sauce, stewed
