Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant
Set up by Yang Quanren in 1864
during the Qing Dynasty, it is a famous, well-established
restaurant. In the past century or so, Quanjude has
seen sound development. It is said that he who has
not visited Beijing cannot say that he has been to
china and he who has been to Beijing must not leave
without eating Roast Duck. Tourists rarely leave Beijing
without tasting authentic Beijing Roast Duck. The
ducks, specially force-fed, are either grilled or
braised, and the firewood must be from the branches
of fruit trees.
Kaorouji Barbecue Restaurant
Famous for its Roast Lamb, Kaorouji
sets strict standards for materials. Only Xikou sheep
with black heads and curling tails quality. Their
meat is tender and delicious. It is also the only
restaurant in Beijing that excels both in Roast Lamb
and Roast Duck.
Fangshan Restaurant
The first to offer authentic Palace
dishes in China, the restaurant was established in
1925 by Sun Shaolie and Niu Wenzhi, former royal chefs
of the Qing Dynasty. Its authentic royal cuisine has
been handed down until today, and waitresses know
the ins and outs of every dish. The Man and Han Whole
Feast is made up of six meals served over three days.

Donglaishun Restaurant
With a nearly 100-year history,
the Donglaishun is a well-known Mushlim restaurant
famous for its Instant-Boiled Mutton. Its founder,
ding Deshan, went into the catering business in 1903
and achieved increasing fame both at home and abroad.
Now, Donglaishun is praised for its excellent materials
(Mongolian lambs), exquisite processing, rich ingredients
and high degree of heating.
