in Zhaoqing City, the scenic spot consists of two parts, the Seven-Star
Rock and Mt. Dinghu. The lake in the Seven-Star Rock Scenic Spot covers
4.5 million square meters with more than 20 kilometers of embankment.
On the lakeside stand seven rocks arranged in the shape of the Big Dipper.
In the caves of the rocks there are many carvings. Mt. Dinghu is located
18 kilometers northeast of Zhaoqing City: It is famous for peaks, ancient
trees, temples, and waterfalls. In 1979, UNESCO listed Mt. Dinghu as
a world natural reserve.
