Day 01 West coast - Beijing
Take a deluxe flight to Beijing, cross the international date line.
Day 02 Beijing
Arrive Beijing in late afternoon and met by CTS tour guide, then you will be
transferred to the hotel.
Day 03 Beijing
Beijing, the capital of China, served as the capital of 5 dynasties over a
period of 800 years with each emperor identified as a dragon sent from the
heaven. Start your city tour with a visit to the Forbidden City. This complex,
the largest and most intact conglomeration of ancient structures of the
imperial palace ever built in the world, features more than 800 buildings with
9999 rooms, resplendent golden-glazed roofs, red lacquered pillars and
vermilion walls. Next stop is the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors used
to pray for good harvest. You will also sightsee the Tiananmen Square, the
largest square in the world. Tonight's special dinner gives you a real taste of
the Peking Duck.
Day 04 Beijing
The highlight today is a trip to the astonishing Great Wall of China, one of the
two man-made structures on Earth that can be observed from the moon.
Later visit the Sacred Path of Ming Tombs and the Cloisonne Factory. You will
attend an acrobatic show in the evening.
Day 05 Beijing - Xian
Take a flight to Xian, the city where eleven dynasties in the history once
took as the capital. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell Tower, Ancient City
Walls and Gates, and enjoy the Dumpling Banquet dinner in the evening.
Day 06 Xian
Sightseeing the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, which is recognized by
UNESCO as the eighth wonder of the world, then visit the 8000-year-old
Neolithic Site at Banpo, followed by the Tang Dynasty show in the evening.
Day 07 Xian - Guilin
Fly to Guilin, the city which is hailed by many as the most beautiful place in
China and is one of the must-see destinations for most foreign tourists.
According to a popular Chinese saying, "Guilin's scenery bests all others in the
world." Its shapely-rising limestone towers and crystal-clear waters are often
portrayed in Chinese artworks. Adding to its natural beauty are many
fascinating caves. Sightseeing the Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave. The
limestone Karst formation in this area is extensively eroded underground and
Reed Flute Cave is one of the finest examples of these caves. In the evening
you will be treated with a Minority Dancing and Singing Show.
Day 08 Guilin
Take a boat cruise trip from Guilin along the Lijiang River for one of the finest
excursions on your tour of China. The journey downstream to Yangshuo offers
30 miles of breathtaking scenery.
Day 09 Guilin - Shanghai
In the morning, fly to Shanghai, the largest commercial and financial center of
China. Stroll the Bund (Wai Tan) waterfront area, a sweeping area along the
Huangpu River, which became the center of Shanghai's foreign business
establishment and the symbol of Shanghai's identity as a modern city. Here is
a good place to capture the western influence of the old days.
Day 10 Shanghai
Continue your tour in Shanghai. Today's excursion takes you to the Yuyuan
Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, Pudong New Area to complete your whole view
of Shanghai.
Day 11 Shanghai - Suzhou - Wuxi
After breakfast, take a bus ride to Suzhou, noted for its landscaped gardens,
waterways and beautiful women. Sightseeing the Tiger Hill (supposedly the
burial place of the King of Wu), Hanshan Temple(a beautiful scenery that has
inspired many poets throughout history to write memorable poems), Humble
Administrator's Garden. Followed by taking a bus ride to Wuxi in late
afternoon.
Day 12 Wuxi - Nanjing
Visit the Three Kingdom Movie Site, which is called "the Hollywood in China",
beautiful Lake Tai, Turtle Island, Freshwater Pearls Farm, and then take bus
to Nanjing in late afternoon.
Day 13 Nanjing - Hangzhou
Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, served as the capital of six dynasties
in China's history. Sightseeing the Sun Yat-Sen Mausoleum, Xuanwu Lake
Park, Confucius Temple. And then continue your tour to Hangzhou - the
Paradise on Earth in late afternoon.
Day 14 Hangzhou - Shanghai
Boat cruise on the West Lake, enjoy the gorgeous scenic spots around the
lake, visit the Lingyin Temple, Yellow Dragon Cave, taste the well-known
Dragon Well Tea. Take bus back to Shanghai in late afternoon.
Day 15 Shanghai - West coast
Tour guide will transfer you to the airport and home your sweet home.
